Privacy Policy

Overview. This app helps you log caffeine and understand patterns between caffeine timing and sleep. The app is designed to work on your device, without an account, without a server backend for your personal data, and without third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Health data access. If you grant permission, the app may read Apple Health sleep data, read Apple Health caffeine data, and write caffeine entries that you create in the app. You can change Health permissions at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.

Local data. Your caffeine logs, sleep-related calculations, preferences, and insights are stored locally on your device. We do not sell your health data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

No server transfer of personal data. Your HealthKit data and your personal caffeine logs are not transmitted to us or to third-party services. The only data that leaves your device is the anonymous, aggregated paywall analytics described below. If a future version adds cloud sync, account features, support uploads, or crash reporting SDKs, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before release.

App analytics. To understand which screens lead people to our Pro offer, the app sends a small number of anonymous, aggregated events — only when the Pro paywall is shown or its upgrade button is tapped — to a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service (GoatCounter). These events contain no personal data, no account, and no device or user identifiers, and cannot be linked to you, your caffeine logs, or your Health data. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Anonymous usage statistics.

HealthKit limitations. The app can only access the Health data types you approve. The app does not control Apple Health, your Apple Watch, or other apps that write sleep or caffeine data.

Deletion and control. You can delete app entries in the app if deletion is provided. You can delete Health entries in Apple Health. Uninstalling the app removes local app data stored in the app container, but it does not automatically remove data already written to Apple Health.

GDPR basis. Where applicable, Health access is based on your explicit permission. Local processing is used to provide the app functionality you request. Because the default architecture does not transmit personal data to us, most access, portability, or deletion requests can be completed directly on your device.

Not medical advice. The app provides general wellness information only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Website analytics. This website uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service, to count aggregate page visits. It does not set cookies or build personal profiles.
